This Privacy Policy describes how Pinyin ("the App") handles your information. The App is designed to display Chinese text with pinyin annotations and is committed to protecting your privacy.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
The App uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. All data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
The analytics data collected includes:
TelemetryDeck does not use device advertising identifiers and does not track users across apps or websites. For more information, see the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.
All text and documents you create or import are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Drive in the App's settings, your documents are synced through Apple's iCloud service and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App does not have access to your documents on any server. No user content is transmitted to us or any third party.
The share extension uses Apple's Vision framework to perform optical character recognition (OCR) on images. This processing happens entirely on your device. No images or recognized text are sent to any external service.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscriptions. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The App does not process or store any payment information.
The only third-party service used by the App is TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics, as described above. No other third-party services, advertising networks, or tracking tools are integrated into the App.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised policy will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
